Original Ford Tip is reused

On this car the factory original chrome tip is going to be reused, the tip has been expanded to suit the new 3 1/2" muffler outlet. i dont normally use the twin chrome tip supplied, i like to keep the exhaust outlet single as the twin tip changes the sound quality and restricts flow slightly

With the chrome tip tack welded into postition and all clearances checked the new exhaust system is then removed to perform the modifications as required.

The front muffler has been modified to allow clearance of the drive shaft, a hammer does this job quite well. the mounting pins have also been changed to correct length and diameter while exhaust is off the car

Once all modifications are completed the exhaust is taken outside and painted with our matt black hi temp exhaust paint, rated to 800c

The Xforce system is refitted for last time,

When fitting the rear muffler ensure clamp is positioned as per image, the nut supplied to tighten clamp 16mm this was changed to 14mm which makes it easier to tighten

The mounting point at the front side of the rear muffler has also been modified to suit. The mounting pins diameter changed to 15mm and cut to length.
