The SL350-SL500-SL600 are all fitted
with a stainless steel factory exhaust system

The oxygen sensors are placed close to the engine to ensure correct air-fuel ratio

 

the catalytic converters and the centre muffler seem free flowing, by replacing
them i cant see any major power increase just more noise

The first thing to change is the rear muffler
by changing the rear muffler, a noticable power increase should be achieved [as with most cars], the rear mufler is the most restrictive part of the exhaust system apart from the catalytic converters,
