This vl commodore has been fitted with the efi heads. Pacemaker Headers PH5700 were used to ensure plenty of gas flow, these headers are one the best off the shelf header available for this application

The "X" System
The exhaust gases from left and right extractor mix in the x section,this evens out the exhaust gas back pressure, giving the engine a much smoother note. A slight reduction in overall diameter in the x area, the exhaust gas speed increases through the x which helps [slightly] by creating a scavenging effect.
