The Gearbox cross member was
remade
so we could get more ground clearance
The "X" System
The exhaust gases from left and right extractor mix
in the x section, this evens out the exhaust gas back
pressure ,giving the engine a much smoother note.
A slight reduction in overall diameter in the x area,
the exhaust gas speed increases through the x which
helps [slightly] by creating a scavenging effect.
The tailshaft
loop was slightly modified
also to give us a little more clearance
The Tailpipes
were only 2 /12"
to help keeps the noise down, with setup and tailpipes
fitted this car still ran a
10.8 @ 125mph Eastern Creek
The magnaflow mufflers were removed
and replaced with Lukey Resonators and flanged
With the fuel tank removed and a fuel cell fitted,
the Magnaflow mufflers were then repositioned at the
rear
